Sampling programs
Know exactly what every attendee walked away with.
Register attendees for your sampling activation, scan them in at the booth, and log exactly what they received in the same step — no separate clipboard, no guessing at the end of the day how many units actually went out. Built for brand activations, roadshows, and product trial events.
A registration link for your activation, live in minutes.
Set the date, venue, and capacity, then share one link for attendees to register in advance — or print a QR poster and let walk-in foot traffic register on the spot at a mall, roadshow, or pop-up booth. Every registrant gets their own scannable QR code immediately.
- Custom registration questions: skin type, allergy info, product preference
- Works for a pre-booked slot or open walk-in registration
- Capacity limit so you never register more attendees than you have stock for
- QR code emailed the moment someone registers
Log what they got, right when you scan them in.
Add a custom question to your check-in session — “Product given”, “Flavor sampled”, “Unit size” — and it appears in the scanner the instant staff scan an attendee's QR code. They pick or type the answer, confirm, and it's recorded against that exact attendee, with a timestamp and which staff member logged it.
- Custom check-in questions per station: text, dropdown, or checkbox
- A QR code can't be checked into the same station twice — no double-sampling
- Multiple booths or stations, each with its own session and its own questions
- Every scan attributed to the staff member who logged it
A real distribution report, not a guess.
Every custom check-in answer shows up as its own column in the participants list, toggled on from the Columns menu alongside name, email, and status — an actual record of who received what, where, and when, instead of a rough headcount from the end of the day.
- Every custom check-in field shown as its own column, on or off from Columns
- Attendee detail panel shows each session's answer, plus who scanned them in
- Live count while the activation is running, not just after
- One dashboard across every station, even on a multi-day roadshow

How do I record what a specific person received?
Add a custom check-in field to the session, like "Product given" or "Flavor sampled", as a dropdown or text field. It shows up right in the scanner when staff check that attendee in, so the answer gets logged at the exact moment the sample changes hands, not from memory afterward on a clipboard.
We have several sampling stations giving out different products. Can each one track something different?
Yes. Give each station its own check-in session (Station A, Station B, and so on), each with its own custom fields. An attendee visiting three stations checks into three sessions, and each records its own answer, so a Station A visit never gets confused with what happened at Station C.
Can we stop the same person from claiming a sample twice?
Yes. A QR code can only be checked into the same session once, so a repeat scan at that station is rejected automatically rather than silently handing out a second unit. If you're running several stations, each is tracked separately, so "once per station" is the default rather than "once per event."
Do attendees need to pre-register, or can we take walk-ins?
Both work. Set up online registration for a scheduled activation so you have a headcount and contact details in advance, or open registration on the spot with a printed QR poster for walk-in foot traffic at a mall or roadshow. Either way, everyone still gets their own QR code and their own check-in record.
How do I get the data back out afterward?
The participants list shows every custom check-in answer as its own column — toggle it on from the Columns menu alongside name, email, and status. Click into any attendee to see their answer for each session they were checked into, plus who scanned them in and when. That's the record you hand a brand or client showing what was distributed and to whom.
Do we need dedicated scanner hardware?
No. Check-in runs in a normal mobile browser tab using the phone's own camera. Any number of staff can scan at once from their own phones, and every check-in syncs live across all of them, so two people at the same booth can't accidentally double-log one attendee.
Is this free to use for a sampling activation?
Yes, you can register attendees and check them in for free. Paid plans raise the attendee limit once your activation grows past the free tier. See the pricing page for current numbers.
Get your next activation tracked properly.
Free to start. Works alongside QR check-in and queue management in one dashboard.
